Game of Trades is a simulated trading app built to help interested participants learn how to buy and sell digital securities on the blockchain without risking real dollars. Each player receives $1000 in simulated funds and 100 of each of our four simulated digital securities. Players compete against other traders to get the high score, measured by highest account balance. This is accomplished from buying and selling your positions. Players can find news related to our simulated stocks by following @agameoftrades on twitter.
Game of Trades is powered by Open Order Book, Horizon's digital securities exchange software built to power a global network of accessible, compliant trading venues.
All you need is an email, username, and password to get started. Game of Trades is currently available to download on iOS and Android from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It is not currently available on a web browser.

At this time, players only receive $1000 in simulated funds and 100 in simulated securities. You cannot purchase or acquire more simulated funds or more simulated securities. If you lose all your money or securities, you can create a new count by going to Me, Help, New Account. When you play a game of trades you win, or you learn.
Once you navigate to the market, you have the option to view all available digital securities. Click on any of the simulated digital securities to see its current share price, share history, buy and sell your shares, and view the Orderbook.

You have the options to
||Sell your digital securities
||Create an order to sell your digital securities immediately if the digital security falls to a specified price, the "stop-loss point." This is designed to limit an investor's loss on a position.
||Create an order to sell your digital securities immediately if it rises to a specified price. This is designed for investors who want to get out of a trade as soon as their planned profit gain is reached. Note that the order is filled right at the "take-profit" point, so investors may risk not being able to sell the securities for an even higher price if the trend continues upward after reaching the initial "take-profit point."
|Trailing Take Profit
||Similar to "take-profit" but designed to create an order to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the investor's favor. The order closes the trade if the price starts falling by a specified percentage or dollar amount.
